EMDR INTENSIVE THERAPY DALLAS & ACROSS TEXAS

Fast-Track Your Healing

Go Beyond the 45-Minute Weekly Session -

Make Faster, Deeper Breakthroughs.

Traditional weekly therapy can be effective and affordable, but real change can take weeks or months. Often, sessions are spent catching up on life events, leaving little time to work through the deeper struggles that brought you to therapy in the first place.

A typical 45-minute therapy session is broken down as follows:

  • Check-In (10 minutes)

  • Processing (30 minutes)

  • Session Wrap-Up (5 minutes)

As you can see, there’s limited time for diving deep into the underlying issues.

Move Forward Sooner with EMDR Intensive Therapy

EMDR intensive therapy is ideal if you:

  • Feel stuck in traditional therapy and want to make faster progress.

  • Have a busy schedule and need a more efficient approach to healing.

  • Prefer deep, focused sessions that allow for uninterrupted processing.

  • Want to reduce distressing symptoms in a shorter amount of time.

  • Need flexibility and faster results without committing to long-term therapy.

Benefits of EMDR Intensive Therapy Dallas

  • Address the root of your struggles in a condensed timeframe, providing quicker relief from trauma, anxiety, and emotional pain.

  • Intensive sessions offer uninterrupted focus, helping you reprocess memories, break old patterns, and maintain momentum without interruptions between appointments.

  • Intensive therapy fosters deeper self-awareness, providing profound insights and breakthroughs that are harder to achieve in shorter sessions.

  • By addressing deep-rooted issues more rapidly, you build emotional resilience and coping skills, empowering you to navigate future challenges with greater ease.

  • EMDR Intensives offer flexibility, allowing you to condense therapy into a few days or weeks to fit your schedule.

  • Achieve lasting results more efficiently, reducing the need for months of weekly sessions. Faster progress in fewer sessions also reduces the overall cost of therapy, saving you money in the long term.

What to Expect with EMDR Intensive Therapy

  • A 90-minute session to define the challenges and desired outcomes for your EMDR Intensive and prepare for the process. We’ll identify the painful memories, beliefs, emotions, or images you want to address, ensuring a clear focus for your healing journey.

  • EMDR Intensive sessions are 3 hours long, with options of up to 9 hours a week, offering targeted treatment and resourcing tailored to your needs. Session begins by developing resources to enhance your sense of calm, security, and control, keeping you within your window of tolerance. These resources will support you both during and after the intensive. The majority of the time is dedicated to trauma reprocessing using EMDR, with breaks for self-care as needed.

  • A 90-minute debriefing session to reflect on insights, relief, and transformation from your EMDR Intensive. We’ll discuss next steps for ongoing growth and healing, and if needed, plan additional EMDR sessions to support your treatment goals.

EMDR Intensive Therapy Dallas FAQs

  • EMDR Intensive Therapy is a focused, accelerated approach that allows you to process distressing experiences in extended sessions, rather than spreading treatment over months of weekly therapy.

  • Traditional EMDR therapy is typically done in weekly 45-55 minute sessions, which can take months to see progress. EMDR Intensives offer longer, concentrated sessions to help you move through challenges more efficiently

  • You can continue working with your current therapist. Many clients see an EMDR-trained therapist for an intensive to target specific issues, then return to their regular therapist for ongoing support.

  • Some people experience significant relief after one intensive, while others may need multiple sessions. It depends on the complexity of the issue being addressed.

  • If you’re looking for a faster, more focused approach to healing especially if weekly therapy hasn’t been enough, EMDR Intensives may be a great fit. A consultation can help determine if it’s the right option for you.
